ORANGE FRENCH TOAST

¼ cup sour cream or plain yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons orange blossom honey
2 large eggs
1 ¼ cups freshly squeezed orange juice
1 loaf French bread, cut on the diagonal into ½ inch thick slices
butter for frying
Orange Maple Syrup
In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream or yogurt with the cinnamon and honey. Add the eggs and beat until smooth. Gradually beat in the orange juice and whisk until frothy. Dip the bread slices into the mixture until soaked. Melt some fo the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the soaked bread slices. Add more butter as needed. Serve immediately with the Orange Maple Syrup. Makes 4 servings.
ORANGE MAPLE SYRUP
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice
Combine the ingredients, mixing well.
