The Pioneer Valley Quilt Guild has been in existence for 18 years. We foster a love of quilting and enthusiasm for quilts and quilting. Our organization is for individuals interested in quilting...to meet, share ideas, learn from each other and from professional quilters. Our guild has reached the momentous growth of 140 members. As members of the Pioneer Valley Quilters we are involved in our communities, hospitals, shelters, soup kitchens and Habitat for Humanity. Over the years, hundreds of quilts have been donated to local charities as the guild's community service project. Our quilting donations have gone to Baystate Medical Center, Hospice, Mercy Center, Shriners Hospital and Kate's Kitchen among others. Pioneer Valley Quilt Guild members make and distribute 'comfort pillows' to medical facilities in the area for breast cancer patients. Our guild members are not only energetic, but are creative and talented quilters. Our meetings are held at the Agawam Baptist Church, 760 Main Street, Agawam, MA on the first Wednesday of the month, September through June, at 6:30PM. Guests and new members are always welcome.
